Man reports his dog was beaten
A man told Kalispell Police he was out to dinner with his wife when someone “entered his house and beat his dog to a bloody mess.”
The man said he would do the same thing to the person who beat his dog if he ever found them, and reportedly suspected that police did this to his dog.
A “No Parking” sign was run over at Fifth Avenue West and Sixth Street West.
Saturday evening, police were on the lookout for a large man with curly blonde hair who reportedly picked up another man and dropped him on his head in a parking lot on East Idaho Street.
Earlier on Saturday, a clerk at a store on U.S. 93 told police that a drunk woman fell while getting into her car to leave and suffered extensive head injuries. The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Someone reported seeing a dog wandering around a store on Third Avenue East North. It was last seen heading toward the pharmacy.
A juvenile girl was caught shoplifting at a store on First Avenue East North. She was arrested and turned over to her father.
A bike was reported stolen on Appleway Drive.
A vehicle collided with a building on West Idaho Street.
Saturday morning, a woman told Whitefish Police she was assaulted at a bar on Central Avenue on Friday night and wants to press charges.
The driver of a black Dodge Challenger was reportedly traveling at more than 100 miles per hour on Montana 40.
Someone found a purse in a ditch along Edgewood Drive and turned it in to police.
