Drunk man beats up on police car
Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a raging drunk on Mountain View Drive after it was reported that the man had assaulted another man, bloodying his face. He tried to kick out the back window of a police cruiser, bending the door, before beating his head on a window while being transported to the Flathead County Detention Center.
A drunk person requested an officer drive by a Montana 35 restaurant and watch for a “group of Russians” because the caller did not like “how they are talking.” A responding deputy found a party that had shut down for the night.
A woman ended up in the emergency room after being assaulted on U.S. 2 East.
A drunk woman was reported standing outside on First Street West, yelling at the ground, before getting in her car and driving away, weaving back and forth on the road.
A lady in a wheelchair was reported sitting at the edge of U.S. 2 East with a sign reading “Parkinson’s disease, need help.”
A passerby reported there were still some transients in a transient camp near Conrad Drive, where deputies had been working to get all of them moved out.
An Edgewood Place resident reported a domestic, “show-style, beautiful bunny” in her back yard.
A Kalispell woman wanted to talk to a deputy about someone selling drugs to her brother.
An upset restaurant employee stopped by the Kalispell Police Department to report a fellow employee for claiming he “made the burger all wrong, and didn’t put no meat on it.”
Despite not finding any evidence of a physical disturbance, an officer arrested a boy while investigating a report of a fight at a hotel on U.S. 93 South.
A spooked Empire Loop woman who reported someone rang her doorbell and shined a flashlight in her window was told it was an officer out checking on a barking dog complaint.
A man was counseled after he admitted leaning out the window of one vehicle and throwing a beer can at a passing car.
An intoxicated woman was arrested and her child taken away when she was stopped for drunk driving on South Main Street. She was transported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.
A repentant youth apologized and agreed to clean up remnants of shattered glass after a Whitefish Police Department officer responded to a report of several youths breaking bottles in an alley near Park Avenue.
A manic woman was reported standing outside of a Dakota Avenue home trying to get back inside and screaming the name of the resident after he threw her and her child out because of the damage the woman had been causing. The woman eventually left.
An upset Eighth Street West woman contacted the Columbia Falls Police Department with questions about her neighbor trespassing and possible criminal mischief to her lilac bushes.
A Fourth Avenue West resident was accused of feeding up to eight feral cats at a time on her porch. The woman’s neighbor wanted her to stop.
