Rosalie Ann Keys, 65
Rosalie Ann Keys, 65, of Columbia Falls, “fell asleep in death” on April 21, 2013, “and is awaiting resurrection.”
Rosalie was born Feb. 21, 1948, in Pendleton, Ore., daughter of Wallace and June Catron, and a sister to three siblings.
Rosalie is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Garry Charles Keys; her mother, June; her four children, Scott Keys, Curtis Keys, Robin Campbell and Stephanie Piland; as well as 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Norma.
Rosalie grew up in White Salmon, Wash. She was a bright and beautiful young girl. Not far from her home in White Salmon, in Klickitat, Wash., she met the love of her life, Garry. They fell in love almost instantly and were crazy about each other. They united in marriage on May 18, 1963, just a few months after meeting. Rosalie was loved, cherished and cared for dearly by her devoted husband, Garry, throughout their life together. To him, she is still the most beautiful girl in world.
Rosalie had many enjoyments and hobbies, including quilting, crocheting, being out and about, fishing and occasionally hunting, only with her husband Garry.
She loved being a “Granny” very much, and had a deep and tender love for each one of her grandchildren. She also had a profound love and compassion for animals and would often volunteer at the animal shelter.
Rosalie had a true regard for others and their feelings and needs. She was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness Church in Columbia Falls. She never missed an opportunity to serve and help others. She loved and worshiped Jehovah with all of her heart. She was truly a kind, loving and extremely giving person. She was always positive and upbeat, and fun to be around.
Rosalie was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will forever be remembered and missed by all of her family and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at the Kingdom Hall in Columbia Falls. A reception will follow at Freedom Bank at 530, Ninth St. West, Columbia Falls.
