Artist to unveil painting at open house

Whitefish artist Colt Idol will unveil his new painting during an open house at Freedom Bank Aug. 22.

The event starts at 4 p.m. and will include live music, food and beverages.

Idol will be signing a limited number of giclee prints of his latest painting, “Discover Freedom.” Presales are available now at Freedom Bank for $350, with $100 going to the Gateway-to-Glacier Trail foundation. The foundation is in its final push to obtain full funding for a paved bicycle and walking trail from Bad Rock Canyon to West Glacier.
