At the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. more than 400,000 items have been left in memory of the 58,282 names on the Wall, as well as countless others who served. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund is currently working to raise $85 million to construct and open the Education Center at The Wall which will display the items left over the years as well as tell the stories of the names on The Wall.
