Choir's fall term beings Sept. 9

Valley Voices Community Choir will begin its fall semester Sept. 9.

The group will meet at its new rehearsal location, Central Christian Church, 248 Second Ave. E., Kalispell (behind the library). Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., and singing will begin at 6 p.m.

The choir meets every Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The selection of music for the semester will include some oldies and favorites of the winter and Christmas season. The Valley Voices concert will be Dec. 7 at Glacier High School.

Valley Voices will be under the direction of David Klassy this semester, while its usual director, Allyson Kuechmann, is on a sabbatical. Klassy has been a member of Valley Voices for several years and is a local music educator.
