Resident receives mysterious letter

Kalispell Police Department officers responded to a Teal Drive property after receiving multiple reports of about a dozen people brawling. Medical responders were requested for a girl who was cut, but she refused treatment.

A surprised Bing Court resident had a threatening letter left on their front door which read “How ya doin I’m after you $”

A drunk man on Hutton Ranch Road led to two calls to police, first when he was acting disorderly and had to be removed from a building but wouldn’t leave the property, and second when his friend was unable to keep him out of the building and he had to be given a ride home by an officer.

A stunned man reported another man approached him in the library and started talking about strange things, eventually getting in his face and accusing him of putting a chip in his head.

A group of youths with skateboards were reported screaming and cussing at a girl on foot on Ninth Street East.

A boy was released to his mother after being found walking down the middle of North Meridian Road at 1:30 a.m.

A woman was arrested for drunk driving after driving erratically and nearly hitting several vehicles on Third Avenue East.


An upset woman contacted the Whitefish Police Department wanting to file a complaint against a bar she was kicked out of after she made a negative comment about a patron there.

A group of young international visitors on U.S. 93 south who were “very drunk” were reported being very loud, being very inappropriate to a minor girl next door, and when asked to quiet down yelling “(expletive) off, we run this town!”

An observant citizen reported concern that someone might fall into a large hole in the empty parking lot across from the old police station on East Second Street and get hurt.
