High school orchestra performs Dec. 9

The Flathead High School orchestra will present its annual holiday concert Monday.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Flathead High auditorium.

Performing groups will be the Flathead High School Concert and Chamber orchestras.

The concert, "A Fresh Christmas," will feature a number of holiday favorites arranged in current popular genres, including jazz, rock and some Mannheim Steamroller versions in a festively decorated hall.  The concert will conclude with the traditional Mannheim arrangement of "Stille Nacht."

There will be a holiday reception immediately following the concert.

The concert is under the direction of Sherry Simmons and is free and open to the public.
