Barclay E. Cobb II, 64

| December 6, 2013 5:46 PM

Barclay E. Cobb II, 64, passed away quietly on Nov. 30,  2013, at Brendan House in Kalispell. He remained active, in spite of his 10-year battle with cancer, until September when it took his ability to walk and eventually his life.

Barclay was born Aug. 29, 1949, in Houston, but was raised in California. Barclay moved around a lot in his middle years and held many occupations. He moved to Montana in 1999 and chose to live out his life here.

Barclay was a traveler from early on. He wore many shoes and tried to enjoy the journey. He had help from many whose paths he crossed, and he always felt blessed by the encounters. Barclay enjoyed life, even in the tough times and always believed “undoubtedly, the universe will unfold the way it should.”

Barclay is survived by two sisters, Terry Plute, his older sister, who lives in Oregon, and his younger sister, Vicki Flaa, in Arizona; and many friends. He will be missed.

Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home is caring for Barclay’s family.
