Board to consider RV park expansion

The Columbia Falls Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday to consider an expansion of Columbia Falls RV Park.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Columbia Falls City Hall.

Larry Fowler wants to add six more spaces to the recreational vehicle park along U.S. 2, off Third Avenue East in Columbia Falls. The expansion would bring the total number of RV spaces to 75.

The park was approved in 1993 for 50 spaces, and an additional 19 spaces were added over time. The property is zoned general commercial, which allows RV parks as a permitted use.
