'One Magical Christmas Evening' in Bigfork

Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre stages “One Magical Christmas Evening” starting this weekend.

In this touchingly humorous and entertaining Dickensian-style fable, Scrooge and the Grinch meet Santa and the ghosts of Christmas. Strong elements of "A Christmas Carol" and "The Gift of The Magi" are recognizably present with a score of traditional Christmas music that will make this a holiday extravaganza.

This musical twist on a few very familiar classics will put you in a holiday mood with some of your all-time favorite Christmas songs like "Ding Dong Merrily On High," "Good King Wenceslas" and "Holly, Jolly Christmas," along with some surprises.

This production is fun for the entire family.

Performances will be at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts starting Friday. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Dec. 20 and 21, and 2 p.m. Sunday.

All tickets purchased today are $6 for any performance. The box office is open from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Regular ticket prices are $11 for adults, $9 for seniors, $8 for students and $7 for children under 10. Tickets can be purchased at the door prior to performances.
