Man threatens to shoot up school

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a representative of a West Evergreen School after the school received a call from a man making threatening statements, including shooting up the school.

Dispatchers received a pair of 911 misdials, overhearing a woman say, “Oh my god, I just dialed 911,” in one call, and, “I don’t think I crap money,” in another call.

Security with a West Reserve Drive business called to report the company was in the process of letting an employee go earlier in the week, and they got a phone call from a man who said, “Kaboom,” then hung up.

A Windsong Way resident complained about someone calling her from a Jamaica phone number starting at 8 a.m. and then continuing to call, constantly, all day.

A confounded customer reported that he made a purchase at a local business, and his credit card company called him, telling him that 11 purchases were made on the card just while he was on the phone with them.

A Stoneridge Drive woman reported she was getting ready to pull into her driveway when she saw a man in maroon snow pants standing beside her garage holding a shovel, and that he was acting a little strange.

The manager of an Airport Road property called the sheriff’s office after someone showed up flashing a badge, saying he was a bounty hunter looking for a fugitive and telling the manager to lock the doors.

A report of four or five people in their early 20s doing cocaine in a Central Avenue bar in Martin City was determined to be unfounded.

A Marion resident on Pleasant Valley Road was issued two citations for dogs at large after the resident’s neighbor reported four or five dogs were running loose and harassing her livestock.

A Conrad Drive man reported his 17-year-old stepson assaulted his wife.

An 18-foot flatbed trailer was stolen from a Montana 35 property.

A Birch Grove Rose resident reported his identification was stolen and used in a traffic stop in Oregon.

Many items were reported stolen from an East Evergreen Drive storage unit.

 

A man who told Kalispell Police officers that his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of a U.S. 93 South bar and later found, smashed up, eventually recanted his story. An officer reported the investigation would be finished up the following evening when the man had had less to drink.

A man reported he and his friends were jumped in the parking lot of a U.S. 2 West bar, leaving their faces bloodied. He was found to be too drunk to give a statement to police.

An officer picked up a man from a Fifth Avenue West property after the man was reported as drunk and refusing to leave. He had previously been banned from the property for life.

A Liberty Street woman reported an ongoing issue with a neighbor who threatened to get her shotgun and shoot the woman.

 

A Kalispell Avenue resident called the Whitefish Police Department after she found a black Labrador tied to her carport when she came home. The dog was transported to the animal shelter.

An officer responded to Wisconsin Avenue to dispatch a deer that had tried to jump an iron fence and got stuck on top.

A man was arrested during a traffic stop on Great Northern Drive.

 

A Columbia Falls Police officer impounded a dog on 16th Avenue West after it was reportedly loose and trying to bite people. The dog was later released to its owner.
