Officer pulls gun on vehicle

Columbia Falls Police were involved with a vehicle pursuit at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday that started when an officer attempted to stop a green Plymouth Voyager in the Hilltop Road area. At one point, the officer attempted to stop the occupants at gunpoint but they took off east on U.S. 2. Officers lost the vehicle as it was last seen heading south on Montana 206. Other law enforcement agencies were involved in attempting to locate the driver.

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday about a fight in a parking lot on U.S. 2 West where a man was attacked by more than one person while he was in a car.

A woman calling from a location on First Avenue West said there was a woman “going crazy,”  yelling that she was going to kill people and banging on doors. The reporting party said the woman choked her and slammed her up against a wall.

There was a report of a disorderly pounding on the door of a residence on Appleway Drive.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report Sunday regarding the theft of a Dodge pickup from a location on Airport Way.

An employee at a hotel on Montclair Drive reported a suspicious man who was using several different names but one credit card. 

A deer was tangled upside down in a fence on Silver Leaf Drive. An animal warden was able to cut the deer free.

A woman managed to not pay for five boxes of wine as she checked out from a super market on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A woman calling from Willow Drive reported that she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend.  She claimed he cut her with his car keys.

 Whitefish Police had a call at about 2:15 a.m. Monday from an employee at a U.S. 93 West hotel who wanted assistance in removing guests who had been the subjects of complaints for three nights.
