Learn the rumba with Kalispell Parks and Rec

Kalispell Parks and Recreation offers a beginning rumba class starting this month.

The rumba is a slow, flirtatious dance, “characterized by Latin motion,” according to a press release from Parks and Rec. The five-week class will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays from Feb. 21 through March 21.

April Howard will teach the class at Hedges School, 827 Fourth Ave. E., Kalispell. Cost is $25 each for Kalispell residents; those who live outside the city pay $30.

Register and pay at the Parks and Rec office, 306 First Ave. E., Kalispell.
