Elm tree benches

Freshman Jake Bedoian loads a board of American elm through a planer Thursday morning at Flathead High School. The board will serve as the the top of a bench Bedoian is making in wood shop. Last semester the class made 98 benches out of the dead elm trees that were removed from Kalispell neighborhoods.
