Ward E. Allers, 46

Ward E. Allers, 46, passed away at Kalispell Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, after battling cancer and other health issues. 

Ward was born Feb. 2, 1967, in Kalispell to Myrna M. (Minthorn) Allers and Elmer D. Allers. 

He grew up in Kalispell, graduating from Flathead High School in 1985. He attended the University of Montana in Missoula from 1985 to1986, and DeVry Institute in Phoenix from 1990 to 1991.

He worked at Mountain Villa Apartments in building repair from 1987 to 2005, when he was forced to quit due to ill health. Ward was a cheerful, kind and gentle man, whose hobbies included hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was very adept with computers. 

Ward was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Roger Allers. 

He is survived by his sister, Beverly Miller, and husband, Royce, of Fairbanks, Alaska, and nieces, Alicia Miller, Hannah Unger and Justin, Lacey Lilley and Jon, all of North Pole, Alaska, and their children, Mikila and Carel Miller, Austin and Ethan Unger, and Jonathan, Hank, Hailey, Riley and Marlon Lilley. He is also survived by many loved friends. 

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Northridge Lutheran Church, 323 Northridge Drive in Kalispell.
