Artist offers pastel portrait workshop

Diana Neville Knowles will offer a pastel portrait workshop in Kalispell starting Feb. 25.

Knowles recently returned from a month-long trip to Louisiana, where she taught three workshops in pastel and oil portrait painting. Her students there ranged from novices to near professional painters, all of whom excelled, she said.

“At the end of the month, it was difficult for an observer to tell which students were old and which were new,” she said.

Knowles’ Kalispell workshop will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 25 and March 4, 11 and 18 at Northland Hobbies in Ashley Square. Lunch is included, and all supplies are included.

Knowles also offers gift certificates.
