Fuller resigns as WHS activities director
The Whitefish High School school board unanimously approved the resignation of activities director Jackie Fuller at a Tuesday meeting last week.
Fuller is in her sixth year as activities director at WHS.
“It was my decision,” Fuller said.
“I will resign from the activities director position at the end of the school year to put more attention and focus on being the assistant principal.”
Fuller is in her second year as the assistant principal.
“It’s really ripping at my heart,” Fuller said of relinquishing her AD duties.
“Athletics have always been my life and all Whitefish activities have been a big part of me since I’ve been here. I’ve been lucky the last six years to work with every program, but it’s time.”
Fuller moved into the AD position after a successful run as the WHS head volleyball coach, which included multiple Class A state championships.
“The contact with the kids, my coaches ... I will miss that,” she said.
“Watching music, all the events, and seeing kids produce.”
Fuller said she’s been blessed with a very supportive family during her 22 years at WHS.
