Northwestern A divisional basketball starts Thursday in Ronan

The Northwestern A divisional basketball tournament begins Thursday evening at Ronan High School with games featuring the bottom two seeds.

Fourth-seed Polson will play fifth-seed Libby in a boys contest at 6 p.m.

Fourth-seed Libby faces fifth-seed Whitefish at 8 in girls play.

The Columbia Falls boys and girls are the top seeds and will be in action Friday. The Columbia Falls girls are the top-ranked team in Class A.

Championship games Saturday are 6 p.m. boys and 8 girls.

The top two teams advance to state.
