Sleeping aid causes paranoia

Side effects of sleeping medication led to a call to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office from a Fonner Road resident in Whitefish. A man called deputies to tell them he believed his neighbor was on drugs because the neighbor was acting paranoid, telling others in the area he and his family were being watched and photographed. The neighbor also expressed a desire to enter random sheds.

When deputies spoke with the neighbor’s wife, they discovered he had been taking medication for sleeping problems and was having a reaction to it, causing him to be paranoid about people watching him. She said they were working with their doctor to resolve the problem.

A Montana 206 resident in Columbia Falls reported a woman in a van came to her home trying to sell her a Kirby vacuum, but didn’t have any brochures or any information on the vacuums. The resident believed the woman was just trying to get into her house.

A tiny problem was reported on West Cottonwood Drive, where a pug bit a person’s pant leg.

A First Avenue North West resident in Hungry Horse reported that a person was wrapping antifreeze in bacon and killing dogs.
