Adam Lennick, 82

| February 23, 2013 4:00 PM

Adam Lennick “was called home” on Feb. 9, 2013, in Richland, Wash. He died very peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Adam was born in Hebron, N.D. on March 18, 1930, to Edward and Elizabeth Lennick. His family moved to Billings in the 1930s.

Adam joined the Naval Reserve from 1947 to 1952. He met the love of his life and promised her his next 60 years in 1950; he gave her 62. Adam and Blythe moved from Billings and finally settled in Kalispell to raise their family. They moved to Kennewick, Wash., in 1976, where he worked as a general carpenter foreman for Bechtel Inc. until his retirement in 1985.  Adam loved being a carpenter and was a good-standing member of the Carpenters Union for 45 years.

Adam was a very compassionate and caring man. There was nothing he would not have done for his family. He will be sorely missed as we have lost a husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Blythe Lennick; and family, Dennis and Jamie Lennick, and Linda and John Sheehan, all of Kennewick, and Victoria Webber of Spokane; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers; and three sisters.

The family invites you to sign the tribute wall at www.muellersfuneralhomes.com.
