Perrin 5th, Fraley 12th in 2 mile at Washington indoor track meet

Flathead High School senior Zach Perrin finished fifth and Glacier High School senior Troy Fraley came in 12th in the boys 2-mile run at the Brooks PR Invitational indoor track meet on Sunday at the University of Washington Dempsey Center.

Perrin’s time was 9:07.91.

Fraley was clocked in 9:16.01.

Bernie Montoya of Yuma, Ariz., had the winning effort — 8:54.63.

Three individuals broke nine minutes.

There were 17 runners in the race from 12 states (Arizona, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin).
