A Flathead High graduate has signed with a Nashville, Tenn.- and Seattle-based talent agency.

Country singer Kayla Adams has signed with Arrow Entertainment. The deal is the first major industry notice Adams has received, according to a news release from the agency.

“Kayla’s stage presence, ability and brand forms the complete package,” her new manager, Chris Sobonya, said in the release.

“With her firecracker attitude and dynamic personality, I’m looking forward to helping her develop and grow as an artist. Her determination will take her far, and I’m excited to mentor her and be a part of her success.”

Sobonya said his immediate goals are pinpointing Adams’ writing style and direction, releasing new music and expanding her fan base.

“Chris came to my recent shows in Billings and had awesome feedback and great ideas for the future,” Adams said in the release. “I think working with him will bring out the best in me. Chris has a personalized plan for my career that will turn me into a business-savvy artist.”

Adams added that she is excited to release new music.

“I’ve been writing new material and I can’t wait to get it out there.”

Adams’ musical resume includes singing with school choirs, touring with a Christian music ministry and studying at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. She has performed in and around the Flathead Valley and Montana.
