Port Polson Players perform 'pope' play

One day of world peace is the ransom New York City cab driver Sam Leibowitz demands in exchange for Pope Albert IV.

That’s the premise of Joao Bethencourt’s “The Day They Kidnapped the Pope,” which opens Friday at the John Dowdall Theatre in Polson.

The Port Polson Players will perform the comedy at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and March 8 and 9 and at 2 p.m. Sunday and March 10.

Tickets are $13 for adults, or $12 for senior citizens and students.
