Viewers in Polson and Kalispell who rely on antennae to watch television are losing channels this month.

KAYU 28.1 FOX and KXLY 4.1 ABC no longer will be available to viewers in the Polson and Kalispell areas, according to a news release from Blacktail TV.

Channel 4.2 Me-TV will be terminated sometime in January.

The channels no longer will be available, the news release says, because KTMF in Missoula has exclusive rights to cover the ABC and FOX networks.

The affected channels are broadcast out of Spokane.

“We have had these channels for years and regret the inconvenience this has caused,” Steven Fite, president of Blacktail TV, said in the release.
