Miss your chance to get tickets to see Ryan Pelton in Bigfork? Don’t check in to Heartbreak Hotel just yet — the Elvis Presley impersonator has added a matinee to his Flathead Valley stay.

Tonight’s 8 p.m. show sold out so quickly that the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts decided to add a matinee performance, according to an email from the Bigfork Chamber of Commerce.

Pelton and his band, The Difference, will also perform their Elvis Tribute — Farewell Tour at 3 p.m. today.

Pelton is widely regarded as one of the world’s best Elvis tribute artists. But he is also passionate actor and is getting ready to pursue a full-time career in Hollywood. Pelton launched his farewell tour in Montana this month.

He has performed all over the world, including in two sold-out shows in Bigfork in 2010. Pelton is the only Elvis tribute artist to have been booked to perform at Graceland, Presley’s home in Memphis, Tenn.

In his live show, Pelton will take audiences on a journey through all the eras of Presley’s career, from the raw-edged 1950s through the light-hearted movie era to the electrifying ’68 Comeback Special to, of course, the Las Vegas years.

Tickets are $27.50 each and are available online at www.bigforktheater.org or at Merry Gems in downtown Bigfork.
