After an application and testing process, Kalispell Public Works employee Daryl Pliley has been promoted to be the city’s new road and fleet superintendent.
Pliley replaces former superintendent Leonard Hogan, who retired several weeks ago after more than 28 years with the city of Kalispell.
Pliley was hired by Kalispell as a street operator in 2011 and then transferred over to water maintenance and repair last spring.
He has training and experience in highway, site and airport construction, according to city officials.
