Angry man prompts 2 cop calls

Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies dealt with an unruly Martin City man twice on Wednesday.

At 7:44 p.m., they responded to a report of a man lying in the middle of Old U.S. 2 East, bleeding. The man, who appeared drunk, seemed to have been part of a domestic dispute, and went back inside his trailer.

At 9:03 p.m., deputies responded to a church on U.S. 2 East in Hungry Horse, where the man from the domestic call had reportedly carved something into the lower door because he was mad at the church for reporting the initial incident.

Deputies responded to an Auction Road home after a man reported his father threatened to bash his head in with a 10-gauge shotgun.

A woman received a call from a rental agency after turning in her key for the home she had just moved out of. The agency informed her that her son had gone into the home, urinated everywhere and punched holes in the wall. The woman said her son was out of town.

A Harmony Court woman was caught up in a common prank when she received a text from an unknown person stating, “I hid the body, now what do I do?”

A girl was dropped off with a relative and a boy dropped off at a shelter after the girl’s female roommate grabbed her by her hair and threw her out of the Two Mile Drive home.

A drunken driver was arrested on Lee Road in Bigfork after driving in the oncoming lane of traffic.

A Farm Road woman told deputies she had received several harassing phone calls stating she owed the caller money, with the caller getting angry and insulting the woman.

An Ezy Drive man reported someone in his house stole $20 out of his pants while he was taking a shower.

A Ganz Road woman in Bigfork complained that her neighbor’s horse was eating her hay.

A Columbia Falls man reported a duck hit the side of his trailer.

A man on Adopt A Pet Way found a sandwich bag containing a pipe and syringes.

Someone cut the lock to and burglarized a storage unit on Ash Road.

Boots, an Xbox and other items were stolen from a Hagerman Lane home.

 

Kalispell Police officers arrested a woman after responding to a Third Avenue West home. The woman — drunk and on probation — tried to throw a vacuum cleaner at the resident before trying to break a window from outside using her elbow.

A boy ran away from home after he was reported for stealing prescription medication and running away, being captured and being returned home.

A man was reportedly stalking a female employee at a North Main Street business. He parked in the lot for several hours at a time.

A Rosewood Drive woman reported her ex-husband hit her with his car and knocked her down while pulling out of the parking lot after she pounded on the hood of his vehicle.

A seventh-grade student reported his parents use drugs at home.

A Grandview Drive resident complained about “tweakers” living in a camper nearby who came onto her property sometime in the evening.

A Third Avenue East resident saw two men with suitcases jumping a fence onto his property.

Ongoing criminal mischief was reported on Oberlin Loop, where a resident said the house was egged the prior night and tires had been slashed in the past.

A woman reported her ex-boyfriend stole her cellphone on Windward Way.

Change and cigarettes were stolen from a vehicle on U.S. 93 South.

 

Whitefish Police officers arrested a man on a warrant on Baker Avenue.

A motorist was arrested during a traffic stop on U.S. 93 South.

 

Columbia Falls Police officers cited and released a shoplifter at a Nucleus Avenue business.

 

Polson Police officers arrested a person for partner or family member assault on 12th Avenue East.

A person was arrested for violating probation.
