Bigfork (8-3, 5-0) had balance on offense with four players in double figures — Colter Trent 17 points, Austin Jordt 13, Christian Evans 12, and Josh Sandry 10.

“We’re getting used to each other, finally starting to come along a little bit,” Bigfork coach Kurt Paulson said.

“The kids are fun to watch when they play great defense like they have been doing.”

Bigfork held Eureka to six points in the first eight minutes and eight in the third period.

Trent opened the third quarter scoring Bigfork’s first 12 points. The Vikings rolled up 20 for the quarter.

Trent wound up with a double-double as he pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.

Jordt led in assists with eight.

On Thursday, Bigfork crushed Plains 68-21 in a 7B contest.

“Again, balanced scoring (in that game),” Paulson said.

“Austin Jordt is playing solid for us at the guard. On the defensive end, he causes so many problems for other teams. He’s so quick. They just can’t get into their offensive rhythm. I give a lot of credit to that kid for how our defense is playing.”
