Search located out-of-bounds skier

A firefighter with the Big Mountain Fire Department reported that Big Mountain Ski Patrol located an injured skier who had been skiing out of bounds Monday evening and brought the skier down the hill to fire department personnel.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a boy assaulted another boy with a box cutter-type knife Friday night on Shady Lane. Sheriff Chuck Curry said no further information was available, but that the incident did not seem serious.

An Aero Lane resident in Bigfork returned home to find his or her front door wide open, but was unable to ascertain if anything was missing. The resident also found footprints all around a storage unit on the same road.

A woman reported finding her husband’s wood splitter at a Trumbull Meadows Lane property in Kalispell after he had a falling out with his partner in a wood-splitting business. The partner apparently took the splitter.

A man reported someone forged his signature on a power of attorney document at a U.S. 93 auto dealership.

A good Samaritan who helped a person get a vehicle out of a ditch along West Valley Drive in Kalispell reported the vehicle smelled strongly of alcohol.

Montana 209 residents in Bigfork reported the downstairs neighbor had threatened their 11-year-old son.

Someone cut a padlock off a trailer on Kila Road in Kila and stole tools from inside.

An observant passerby reported a man “beating up on” his son outside a North Meridian Road business and that the man had a large hammer. The son did not want charges pursued.
