Roundup: Sentinel wrestlers pin Braves

MISSOULA — Missoula Sentinel used seven pins to push its way past Flathead 54-24 in a Western AA wrestling dual on Thursday.

The fourth-ranked Spartans are now 12-6 in dual action.

Posting pins for Flathead were Cody Settle (125) and Nick Iavicoli (152).

Flathead’s Jake Egley decisioned Michael Cloud 8-2 in a battle of AA’s top two wrestlers at that weight class. Egley is ranked No. 2 and Cloud No. 1.

Flathead is back on the mats Saturday at 5/7 p.m. at Helena and Helena Capital.

Polson’s Triston Caye (112), Carlos Quinones (119), Craig Feistner (145), Ted Seaman (171) and Isaiah Williams (heavyweight) all won by pin.

Libby’s Zach Crace (130), Mitch Haugen (135) and Skylar Higareda (140) were pin winners.
