Eureka's Blankers scores 33 points in loss to C-Falls

EUREKA — Tanner Blankers cashed in from the behind the arc with eight treys on his way to a career-best 33-point performance Friday night, but it wasn’t enough to lift Eureka (0-13) to a nonconference boys basketball win over Class A Columbia Falls (8-4).

Columbia Falls rolled to an 88-48 victory.

Blankers had 14 points in the third period, 12 coming on four 3s.

Columbia Falls, which hit 20 of 26 free throws, was led by Luke Kazlauskas, 15 points, and Alex Presnell, 13.

Eureka has a District 7B game today at Plains, while Columbia Falls visits Libby in Northwestern A action.
