Norma Claire Lowndes, 66

Norma Claire Lowndes, born Sept. 25, 1946, passed away suddenly of cancer on the evening of Jan. 8, 2013. For the few days that she was in the hospital, her family and friends surrounded her. It is thought she must have had cancer for a while, but her strength for carrying burdens and being everyone’s rock continued until the week before her death.

Norma “Mom-Mom” is survived by her husband, Bill; son, Bill Lowndes, and his daughters, Allison and Jessica, of Wanaque, N.J.; daughter, Pamela Lowndes, and her daughters, Rachel and Alexandra Collinge, of Vernon, N.J.; son, Michael, and wife, Dusti Lowndes, and their son, Maverick, of Kalispell, and extended grandchildren Cameron and Emmalie Gavlak; siblings near Middletown, N.J., Bruce and wife Judy Phillips, Michael Phillips and wife Sue Brickell, Tommy Phillips, and Patty and husband Dan Colson; along with numerous loving nephews, nieces, cousins and a large extended family and wonderful friends.
