Son uses father's ID for tickets

Kalispell Police Department officers arrested four people between Friday evening and Saturday morning.

At 4:22 p.m. Friday, a boy was arrested on Woodland Avenue for having drugs in his car before being released to his father.

At 6 p.m., a man was arrested on East California Street after assaulting his girlfriend.

At 6:45 p.m., a man was arrested for violating his probation by failing a breath alcohol test as part of the 24/7 Sobriety Program.

At 2 a.m. Saturday, a woman was arrested on East Idaho Street for active warrants and obstructing a peace officer.

An officer who stopped to investigate a woman kneeling by a vehicle outside an Airport Road bar reported she was “releasing some alcohol.”

A man and a woman stole vitamins and condoms from a Third Avenue East North business.

A U.S. 93 South man reported that while he was on bed rest, he let his son take his vehicle. His son was pulled over and received tickets, but used his father’s ID so all of the tickets were in the father’s name. Both the father and son are on probation.
