Young teen goes after brother with knife

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Bald Rock Road home after receiving a phone call from a woman, in the process of driving home, who reported her 13-year-old son was trying to stab his 12-year-old brother with a knife.

A Montana 35 woman reported someone threatened to track down and kill her.

A girl was arrested at a Fourth Avenue West home and transported to the Flathead County Juvenile Detention Center after providing a deputy with false information.

A combative shoplifter with an infant was apprehended at a U.S. 2 East store in Kalispell.

A U.S. 2 East resident in Kalispell reported hearing five shots, possibly from a handgun, across the street from a nearby supermarket.


The Kalispell Police Department checked out a report of an escapee on Sunnyview Lane after someone reported a woman in an orange jumpsuit running from the hospital. It was found to be a “mental patient” wearing scrubs, who was later apprehended and returned to the emergency room.

A Harrison Boulevard woman said her 13-year-old daughter slapped, kicked and punched her because she took the daughter’s cigarettes away.

Someone saw a collie or German shepherd-type dog attack a child on Fourth Street West.

A woman was reported hanging out with a known felon at a bar on Woodland Park Drive; and she allegedly had a large amount of marijuana in her vehicle.

A bartender at an Airport Road bar said a man entered the bar holding a closed knife in his hand before walking back out and leaving.

A man was assaulted by three other men on U.S. 93 South.


The Whitefish Police Department received a report of a big mountain lion in the area of Ridge Crest Drive after a resident found paw prints that led up to their door.


Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a person for unlawful possession of a firearm at a Ronan business.
