Lorne Dean Krieg, 23, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013, in Kalispell.

Lorne was born Jan. 22, 1990, in Springfield, Ore., to Rondey and Debra Krieg. They moved to Kalispell where he was raised and attended schools.

Lorne moved to Dickinson, N.D., a little over two years ago to pursue a career as a roustabout in the oil fields. He was a leader and gained great satisfaction from the work he performed on a daily basis. He enjoyed being with his friends, hunting, fishing, shooting, playing football and just being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Stella Krieg.

Lorne is survived by his parents, Rondey and Debra Krieg; his grandparents ,George Krieg, Lynn and Christine Holsworth; and his brother, Justin Krieg.

A celebration of Lorne’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Hooked on Fishing, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, 490 N. Meridan Road, Kalispell, MT 59901.
