Authors conference scheduled for September

Authors of the Flathead’s annual writers conference has been scheduled for Sept. 28 and 29.

The 23rd annual Flathead River Writers Conference takes place at Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell. Learn from experts in fiction, freelancing, romantic comedy, marketing and more, and meet agents who can help you sell your writing.

This year’s keynote speaker is William Haywood Henderson, a Colorado-based novelist, writing coach and educator. His acclaimed novels are set in the American West, and Henderson has taught the craft of writing at Harvard, Brown, the University of Colorado the University of Denver and the Lighthouse Writers workshop.

Attendance is limited to the first 100 paid registrations. Cost to attend both days is $150; attend one day or the other for $85.
