Phillis L. Moore, 82

Phillis L. Moore, born Dec. 8, 1930, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, at home, surrounded by family.

Phillis was a fun and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She enjoyed a wonderful career as the manager of the Flathead Valley Community College bookstore. She loved politics and served as the president of the Montana State Democratic Women's Club. She loved the Moose and the VFW. She held firm to loving your family and to helping your neighbor.

She is survived by daughters, Minde Connelly, Heidi Brady and Holly Moore; sons-in-law, Jan Connelly and John Brady; grandchildren, Lara Connelly, Jeff Connelly, Karmen Knievel-Guilfoyle, Josh Brady and Rachelle Brady-Quinette; great-grandchildren, Analise Moore-Shields, Ila Stecher, Wyatt Stecher,Tanner Brady-Quinette, Kane Guilfoyle and Charlee Brady-Quinette; sister, Dee Sloan; and many friends across the world.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Moore; sons, John E. Moore and Ralph A. Moore; sister, Edwina Donahue; and her companion, Chuck Cogburn.

One of her greatest pleasures was to read to her great-grandchildren. Donations to your local library are suggested if you wish to honor her memory.
