Pulled plugs sink pair of watercraft

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a criminal mischief report from Parkway Avenue in Bigfork regarding the plugs being pulled on two personal watercraft, causing one of them to sink.

A man calling from Maple Drive reported that he had been punched by a woman, who later claimed that he assaulted her and had refused to leave after being asked to several times. The man was taken to another location.

There was a report of signs at a business on U.S. 93 North of Kalispell being “shot up.”

A dog was impounded after it bit its owner’s kids at a location on Shady Lane. The owner said she no longer wants the dog and surrendered it to the county.

There was a report of an intoxicated man who fell off his bicycle several times in a parking lot on U.S. 2 East in Evergreen.

A man calling from Cayuse Lane reported several guns were missing from his house. He believes his ex-wife took them.

A man calling from Blacktail Road in Lakeside reported that he was attacked by his son, who had been kicked out of the house.

Three youths were reportedly throwing boulders onto U.S. 2 near Kila. It turned out they were throwing rocks down a cliff, but not onto the highway.

 

Whitefish Police got a report from Skyles Place Sunday regarding the theft of two small children’s scooters.

There was a report of someone in a blue van stealing $110 in gas from a store on U.S. 93 South.

 

Columbia Falls Police got a report Sunday from a Sixth Avenue West resident who said her neighbor witnessed her home being burglarized over the weekend.

There was a similar report on 11th Avenue West, with a neighbor once again witnessing an unknown person entering a home.

There was a report of kids riding a go cart and causing damage to school property on Fourth Avenue West.

After getting a report of suspicious teenagers on 12th Avenue West, an officer arrested a teenage boy, apparently for possession of drugs or paraphernalia.

 

There was a report of a shed at Hamilton Sand and Gravel on U.S. 2 west of Columbia Falls catching fire after it was struck by lightning Monday afternoon.
