Cajun Street Dance planned in Somers

This year’s Somers Cajun Street Dance takes place July 20 in downtown Somers.

The event features live music by Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble and the Red Hot Blue Chips.

The dance runs from 7 p.m. to midnight. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $20; children 12 and under get in for free. Purchase tickets at Del’s Bar in Somers or at Joe Blogz in Lakeside.

Proceeds benefit the Somers Company Town Project.
