A Wasilla, Alaska, woman who received a deferred prosecution agreement after being charged with felony aggravated promotion of prostitution is now the subject of a bench warrant.

Jennifer Johnson, 45, was alleged to have allowed Daniel Smith to have sex with a 13-year-old girl in exchange for drugs.

Smith was also given a deferred prosecution agreement after he originally was charged with felony counts of sexual intercourse without consent, accountability to sexual intercourse without consent, and sexual assault.

The accountability charge was the result of allegations that Smith allowed a 19-year-old boy to have sex with the girl as well.

Johnson failed to appear for hearings on Feb. 28, March 28, and July 3 that were to discuss her failure to make payments on restitution ordered as part of the agreement.

During the July 3 hearing Johnson’s attorney said Johnson works in Wasilla at a creamery, where she receives room, board and $300 per month, leaving her financially unable to make it to her court hearings in Kalispell.

As of July 3, Johnson had paid just $25 in restitution.

District Judge Heidi Ulbricht set the amount of the bench warrant at $5,000.
