The gathering storm

A thunderstorm rolls into Kalispell beyond the CHS grain elevators at Fifth Avenue and Center Street on Wednesday afternoon. The storm brought hail, heavy rain and lightning in a brief blitz across town. Later Wednesday afternoon, lightning hit and injured three people hiking on a trail on the east side of Glacier National Park.
