Ethel Ileen (Buck) Wagner, 94

Ethel Ileen (Buck) Wagner, 94, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Grace House Assisted Living Center in Estacada, Ore. 

She was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Creston to Stephen Walkley and Jennie Belle Welsh Buck. Ethel had 10 brothers and four sisters and graduated from Flathead County High School. She loved roller skating at Lake Blaine, big bonfires with friends and family picnics. 

On Dec. 15, 1939, she married Earl R. Wagner and they lived in Creston, Kila, Evergreen, Swan Lake, Fortine and eventually moved back to the Creston farm. In later years she loved making quilts, crossword puzzles, gardening and fishing with Earl in their boat.

Ethel was preceded in death by her beloved husband Earl, her mother and father, 10 brothers and three sisters.

 She is survived by a son, Edwin R. Wagner, of Gresham, Ore.; two daughters, Earlene R. Maldonado and husband Fred of Westminster, Colo., and Ronda L. Miller of Lantana, Texas; one sister, Ruby Shaw, of Auburn, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey and David Miller, Vaughn and Robert Wagner, and Janet and Lori and Brian Maldonado; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Ethel will be held at 10 a.m. (This has been changed from the 11 a.m. service originally stated) on Thursday, July 25, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Ron Pierce officiating.
