Drive-thru gets busy with drunks, flashers and a car jam

Kalispell Police Department officers responded to an East Idaho Street fast food restaurant after receiving a report of double trouble — nearly a dozen drunk people fighting in the drive-thru and drunk women taking off their tops. Someone also drove into another car before officers arrived, separated everyone involved and sent them on their way. No one wanted to pursue charges.

A pair of boys were apprehended and turned over to family members after police received reports of three young men going into a home and then running away carrying boxes on their shoulders.

A motorcyclist with a backwards hat was seen doing a wheelie on U.S. 93 North near Four Mile Drive.

A panhandler was reported approaching cars on Treeline Road.


A sleep talker’s midnight confessions initiated a call to the Whitefish Police Department after several guests at a Lupfer Avenue hotel reported the dozing man was talking about his police record and raping women.

A passing bicyclist reported two men and three women between the ages of 18 and 24 smoking something out of a glass tube in the parking lot of a U.S. 93 South fast food restaurant.


A Second Avenue West resident contacted the Columbia Falls Police Department after discovering someone had shot their cat in the yard.
