Infamous Stringdusters coming to town
The Infamous Stringdusters perform Aug. 8 at the Great Northern Bar and Grill in Whitefish.
The Charlottesville, Va., band features Travis Book on bass, Andy Falco on guitar, Jeremy Garrett on fiddle, Andy Hall on dobro and Chris Pandolfi on banjo. They’ve dubbed their acoustic, bluegrassy sound “high country” — which is also the name of the band’s record label.
Whitefish is just one stop on the band's American Rivers Tour, which celebrates the 40th anniversary of American Rivers, a nonprofit organization working to protect and restore the nation's rivers and streams. One dollar for every ticket sold on the run is donated to American Rivers.
American Jubilee will also be part of the show, which starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $17 in advance or $19 at the door. Adults 21 and older are welcome.
