| July 31, 2013 5:30 PM

The Bigfork Museum of Art and History hosts its Pitchfork Fundraiser Aug. 16 at Brookies Cookies, 191 Mill St., Bigfork.

The day will kick off with free clay artist demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The demonstrations will feature raku firing and pottery throwing using equipment set up in front of Brookies.

The Divine Bovines will perform their hilarious renditions of songs about cow life set to classic tunes, such as “Bags a’ Bobbin” set to “Rockin’ Robin.” “Backroads of Montana” from Montana PBS will be on hand to record the Divine Bovines for an upcoming segment.

A fondue meal will be served, including a fried pickle, sirloin top with peppercorn sauce, chicken breast with béarnaise sauce, cheesy mashed potatoes, salad, vegetables, rolls and brownies. A no-host bar will be available.

Tickets are limited and are available at the Bigfork Museum gift shop and Riecke’s Bayside Gallery or by phone at 837-6927. For a chance to hear the Divine Bovines, go to www.bigforkevents.com.
