Neighbor mows over flower bed
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a Harmony Road resident who claimed she had video of her neighbor driving a riding lawnmower into her backyard and running over flower beds. She said there is a standing feud involved.
There was a burglary report from Electric Avenue in Bigfork, with guitar, amplifier and a weed trimmer being stolen.
A person calling from East Evergreen Drive reported purchasing tires from an individual, and later discovering that the tires came from a vehicle that was stolen, according to a Facebook post.
A person calling from a bridge over the Middle Fork Flathead River at West Glacier reported seeing a purple kayak floating upside down the river. It was determined that no one was in danger and an attempt to recover the kayak was made by a raft guiding company.
A woman calling from the Lakeside area said she was assaulted by a man in a parking lot at about 1 a.m. Sunday. She said he grabbed her inappropriately, shook her, and accused her of being anti-government.
A man calling from Montana 35 east of Kalispell reported a theft of gold from his business.
There was a report of an altercation between several women on South Cedar Drive, apparently over stolen items.
A man calling from Olson Court in the Columbia Falls area reported that his wife was beating him up.
At about 9:30 p.m., there was a report of a man and woman fighting in a parking lot off Woodland Park Drive. That led to the woman being taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment, and she was also arrested on a warrant.
There was a report of two men fighting at a residence on Murer Lane in the Bigfork area.
A person calling from Concord Lane said that there was a man outside the residence who possibly might try to break in. He left instead, and was later located and arrested on a variety of warrants.
A person calling from Zimmerman Road reported that a car with several people, appearing to be minors, drove by and threw a beer bottle at the reporting party’s vehicle. The group was later located and stopped, and the driver was arrested for drunk driving.
At about 2 a.m. Monday, a man left his wallet at a convenience store on U.S. in Evergreen and when he returned it was gone.
Kalispell Police received a report Sunday regarding a house that was broken into, with a door kicked in, on First Avenue West. Knives were stolen from the residence.
A person calling from Jackson Peak Drive said that speakers were stolen from an unlocked car.
Early Monday, at about 3 a.m., a woman calling from West Oregon Street said that someone tried to break into her vehicle. She said she heard someone enter the unlocked vehicle and saw a light turn on inside. The perpetrator left and nothing was stolen.
There was a report of a purse being stolen from a vehicle on West Arizona Street.
There was a report of someone attempting to break into a pop machine at a location on East Idaho Street.
There was a report of a vehicle being broken into on East Idaho Street, with speakers, a GPS device and CDs being stolen.
A person calling from a business on 18th Street East reported vandalism to a vehicle.
An intoxicated woman was passed out in a chair on First Avenue West North. The woman did not require medical treatment but she was assisted.
A man calling Whitefish Police from Sawtooth Drive Sunday reported being assaulted by another man in early March. He said he wanted to report the assault because he is still suffering injuries from being pushed down on some ice.
