Catch up with culture at art history club

If you’ve missed the last few meetings of the Cultural and Art History Club, June 11 is the perfect opportunity to get caught up.

This month, the club will review four artists discussed at recent meetings: Montana artist Lyndon Pomeroy, American artist Andrew Wyeth, French artist Auguste Rodin and Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai.

Rosella Mosteller leads the discussion. The club is continuing to evolve as a group to come up with new ideas and discussion approaches that will lead to learning art history.

The club meets from 10 a.m. to noon at Stumptown Art Studio, 145 Central Ave., Whitefish. Sign up at the studio for an annual membership, or pay a $5 drop-in fee.
