| June 12, 2013 6:00 PM

This month, Olney author Marthella Adams celebrates the nationwide release of her latest novel, “Heartfelt Promises,” the second book in the Promises series.

Thirty-year-old Jenny Combs lost her sister and brother-in-law in a car accident, leaving her the sole guardian of her nephew, Joey, who can’t bear to be without his parents, and can’t stand to be around Jenny. The newfound responsibilities of parenting are enough to drive Jenny crazy. In desperation, Jenny has turned to her best friend, Vienna, her husband, Rawley, and their daughter, Mary, for help in the small, peaceful town of Promise Valley.

Here in this quaint town, Jenny and Joey struggle in search of peace, love and a future. Readers learn if Jenny will be able to take on the task of caring for her nephew in a brand new place, and if Joey will be able to accept Jenny’s love in Adams’ latest heartwarming novel, a follow-up to “Fulfilled Promises.”

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is now available at bookstores nationwide and can be ordered through the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Adams spent 18 years in law enforcement before moving to beautiful northwest Montana. It was there that she met and married her husband, Jim.

She lives in Olney and has two grown children and three grandchildren. Adams is also the author of “A Miracle for Marcie,” “Wish upon a Silver Star,” “A Special Second Chance” and “Patsy’s Ray of Hope.”
