Kayli Mercedes Wagoner, 17

Kayli Mercedes Wagoner, 17, of Columbia Falls, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2013, in Kalispell.

She was born on Jan. 16, 1996, in Kalispell to Amanda Wagoner.

She was a kind, loving, selfless girl who will be dearly missed by all who love her.

Kayli was looking forward to being a senior in high school next year where English was her favorite subject. She loved to write and draw and was a talented artist. Kayli loved animals and left behind her beloved duck, “Baby.” She was always thinking of others and loved to give gifts. She also liked to cook and entertain, and worked at Los Caporales along with her mother.

Kayli was taken too soon, and the world has suffered a great loss in that it will not benefit from the amazing woman she would have become. We are blessed because we knew her.

Kayli was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Joe Wagoner and Kermit and Anna Mae Bexell; and her second cousins, Annie and Quintin Wagoner.

Kayli is survived by her mother, Amanda Wagoner, and stepfather, Ryan Quiroz, of Columbia Falls; stepfather, Aaron Norton; great-grandma, Bobbi Wagoner, of Kalispell; grandparents, Lyle and Becky Wagoner, of Kalispell; aunt, Heather, and Zach Mahon, and cousins Kaleb, Gavin and Morgan; aunt, Sabrina, and Clyde Stout, and cousins Nathan, Brandon, Ashlynn, Jaydin and Cy; aunt, Jessica, and Scott Burton; aunt, Kirstin, and Matt Jarman, and cousins Evan, Alivia and Anthony; uncle, Darren Wagoner; and many numerous second and third cousins and great aunts and uncles.

Kayli’s wish would be to send donations in her name to the Spay and Neuter Task Force or to the Flathead County Animal Shelter in Kalispell.

A memorial service for Kayli will be held at 10 am on June 22 at Easthaven Baptist Church, located at 2010 Whitefish Stage Road.

Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home is caring for Kayli’s family. You are invited to go to www.jgfuneralhome.com to view Kayli’s tribute wall, offer condolences and share memories.
